# Create and Manage Pages

**In this article, you can learn how to create Pages and how to manage them.**

## How to Create Pages

You can create multiple Pages inside one [Page Group](https://help.happeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/7600444694929), move them under other [Pages](https://help.happeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/7603142834577), and delete & change the landing page.

To create a Page, you can:

1. Navigate to a **Page Group** from the **Page Navigation**
2. Click the **edit symbol** at the top right corner of the page
3. Click **Manage pages** from the **Page Settings Menu** at the bottom

## How to Manage Pages

### Organizing placement of Pages

Pages can be managed from the **Manage Pages** section as detailed earlier. You can move a Page by dragging and dropping it where you want (hover over a Page until you see the six dotted symbol).

You can also click on the three dots next to a Page and create a **Subpage** for the Page. For more information, please see [this article](https://help.happeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/9278952922641).

### Setting as a home page

You can also change the Page Group home page by clicking the three dots next to a Page and selecting **Set as home page**.

## How to move Pages within a Page Group

To move a Page within a Page Group, you can:

1. Navigate to the **Page Group** in which the Page you want to move resides
2. Click on **Edit Page** at the top right corner
3. Select **Manage Pages** at the bottom of the Page Settings Menu
4. **Hover** over the Page you wish to move
5. **Drag** the Page from the **six dots** that appear
6. And **drop** the Page wherever you want to move it

### When will the Page or Subpage URL change?

Let's say you have a Page called "Support" within a Page Group. When you move "Support" to another Page, "Support" will become a Subpage, and therefore will have a different URL.

If you move the Subpage "Support" to another Subpage, the URL will remain the same as what it changed into, because it remains a Subpage.

Basically, when you move a Page, the URL will only change if the Page becomes a Subpage and vice versa.

If you copy a Page or Subpage to a different Page Group, the URL will change.

And of course, if you change the Page or Subpage name, the URL will also change, reflecting the name change.

## How to Copy Pages

Copying a Page from a Page group into a different Page or Page group is handy when you wish to **duplicate Pages** or use a Page as a **starting point** for a new Page.

- When you copy a Page into another Page within a different Page Group, that copied Page becomes a Subpage
- If you copy a Page into another Page Group, that Page will become an individual Page within the selected Page Group
- Copying a Page into the same Page group in which it resides will create a new Page
- Lastly, copying a Page into a Page within the same Page Group in which it resides will create a new Subpage

Additionally, you must be either a Page Group **Owner**, **Editor**, **Author**, or **Platform Administrator** to copy a Page from a Page Group. Moreover, you must be an **Editor** or **Author** of the **Page Group** / **Page** you wish to copy the Page into.

### Copying a Page

1. Navigate to the Page Group in which the Page you want to copy resides
2. Click on **Edit Page** at the top right corner
3. Select **Manage Pages** at the bottom of the Page Settings Menu
4. Click on the three dots next to the Page you wish to copy
5. Click on **Copy Page to**
6. You can select the Page or Page Group from the menu
7. Click on **Save**

#### Using links

Another way to copy a Page into a Page Group is by using the **Link** option. Using the **Link** option enables you to create a "shortcut" of a Page from one Page Group to another Page Group. Using this option also enables you to create a "shortcut" to one Page Group from another. Simply:

1. Navigate to the Page Group in which the Page you want to copy resides
2. Click on **Edit Page** at the top right corner
3. Select **Manage Pages** at the bottom of the Page Settings Menu
4. Click **Add Page**
5. Click **New link**
6. **Name** the link
7. Enter the **URL** of the Page OR select it from the drop-down menu

1. To view the Pages of a Page Group, click the **upwards** arrow next to the Page Group
2. (Optional) Click the checkbox next to **Open in new tab** to have the link open in a new tab
3. Click **Create**

#### Using Page Templates

Another way to copy multiple individual Pages from one Page Group and create a new Page Group from them is to use the [**Templates**](https://help.happeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/9950951479825) feature.

Save the Pages you want to copy as a new template, then use that template. At the moment, to copy to existing Page Groups, you'll have to copy them one by one.

## How to archive a Page

Happeo does not delete Pages. Instead, we archive Pages in case you may want to bring back the Page.

If you want to archive a Page:

1. Navigate to the Page Group in which the Page you want to archive resides
2. Click on **Edit Page** at the top right corner
3. Select **Manage Pages** at the bottom of the Page Settings Menu
4. Click the three dots on the right side of the page and select **Archive Page**

**Note:** If you only have **one Page** within your Page Group, you **cannot archive the Page**. Instead, you will need to [archive the entire **Page Group**](https://help.happeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/7753867179665).
