## How to create a new widget

- Open the Happeo admin panel and navigate to "Custom widgets" [https://app.happeo.com/admin-v2/customWidgets](https://app.happeo.com/admin-v2/customWidgets)
- Create "Add custom widget"
- Select embedded widget type
- Add widget name, url and select scopes you want to add to the widget. If no scopes are needed, then we recommend not selecting any.

## Shared secret

After you have saved your new widget, open it from the Custom widgets list. Then click the "View secret" -button. Please note that the "View secret" -button is only visible if scopes are selected.

**Resetting the secret**

You can open the same view and click the "Generate new secret" if needed. Please note that the previous secret will deprecate immediately so key rotation should be done during a scheduled downtime of your widget.
