Creating a custom embedded widget
Requirements
- Access to Happeo admin panel
How to create a new widget
- Open the Happeo admin panel and navigate to "Custom widgets" https://app.happeo.com/admin-v2/customWidgets
- Create "Add custom widget"
- Select embedded widget type
- Add widget name, url and select scopes you want to add to the widget. If no scopes are needed, then we recommend not selecting any.
Shared secret
After you have saved your new widget, open it from the Custom widgets list. Then click the "View secret" -button. Please note that the "View secret" -button is only visible if scopes are selected.
Resetting the secret
You can open the same view and click the "Generate new secret" if needed. Please note that the previous secret will deprecate immediately so key rotation should be done during a scheduled downtime of your widget.
