Over the last few months, we’ve worked closely with a small group of customers to refine the Pages 2.0 migration tool. Thanks to their feedback – and rigorous internal testing – we’re ready to see how it handles larger-scale migrations involving a variety of content, layouts, and use cases, as we work toward completing full-site migrations.

How Managed Beta Works
Managed Beta is our guided version of Open Beta – designed to help you migrate your intranet to Pages 2.0 in an organised, supported way. Instead of simply giving you the migration tool and leaving you to work independently, we’ll lead you through a 5-week structured process, complete with:
Weekly Guidance: Each week begins with a focused live session to walk you through that stage of migration. Later in the week, we’ll host an open Q&A to dive deeper and answer questions. All sessions are offered twice to suit different time zones.
Full-Site Testing: You’ll begin migrating at scale – putting the tool to the test across more content, layouts, and real-world scenarios. Note any issues such as layout changes, missing content, or unexpected behavior, so we can address them quickly.
Direct Feedback: Share your thoughts in our dedicated Pages 2.0 Migration Happeo Channel or in 1:1 sessions with our Product Team. Your input will help refine the tool, process, and rollout – planned for October 2025.
What We’ll Cover (Week‑by‑Week)
Week 1 – Setting Up Your Pages 2.0 Foundations We’ll walk through the migration approach and how we’ll support you. Then we’ll dive into your first step: setting up Brand Styles and creating Templates for consistency and speed.
Week 2 – Planning Your Migration Strategy We’ll help you review your existing content and determine who will be involved in the project. By the end of the week, you’ll have a clear, prioritized content list to guide your migration.
Week 3 – Learning the Editor & Migration Tool Your project team will get a hands-on walkthrough of the migration tool and the Pages 2.0 editor to give you the confidence to transition and refine pages before publishing.
Week 4 – Migration Kickoff & Best Practices Time to start migrating! The timelines of this phase will vary depending on your content, goals, and internal capacity, but we’ll share best practices for a smooth process.
Week 5 – Managing Pages for the Long Term We’ll equip you with best practices to keep your Pages 2.0 content accurate and well-governed. Our Thursday Q&As will remain open to support you as your migration continues.
Participation Guidelines
Managed Beta is designed to test the migration tool across more content, layouts, and real-world scenarios – while giving you the support and resources to make significant progress.
To make the most of it, we ask that you:
- Keep pace with the weekly plan where possible.
- Share feedback regularly – what worked, what didn’t, and any edge cases.
If participation becomes inactive, we may open your spot to another customer who’s ready to commit. If your availability changes, just let us know – we can move you to a later cohort.

Timeline: What Happens After Managed Beta
Joining the Managed Beta gives you early access, hands-on support, and the opportunity to shape the migration experience. Afterward, the migration tool will be released to all customers, with ongoing guided support and self-serve resources.
It is possible to delay your migration – but it’s important to recognize that support for the original version of Pages will gradually wind down. By this time, the migration tool will have evolved from migrating individual Pages and Page Groups to full-site, bulk migration. For full details, see below.
From H2 2026, any remaining content in the original version of Happeo Pages will be automatically migrated by Happeo – ensuring everyone is on Pages 2.0 before the original version is decommissioned. We’ll give ample notice, share regular updates, and provide clear guidance at every step.

What is the Managed Beta?
The Managed Beta is the next phase of testing our Pages 2.0 migration tool – focused on full-site migrations at scale. You’ll work through more content, more layout variations, and more real-world scenarios, following a structured 5-week program with live guidance, best practices, and direct support from our team.
How is it different from the Closed Beta?
In the Closed Beta, participants tested the migration tool on a smaller scale – moving a few pages or page groups to see how it handled different layouts and structures. The Managed Beta builds on that work, but now we’re moving entire sites and testing the tool in a broader range of real-world conditions.
When does the program start and how long does it run?
The program runs for 5 weeks, beginning the week of Monday, September 1, 2025. Your migration project may continue beyond that, depending on your content structure, internal resources, and goals.
What happens if I join the Managed Beta?
Before we begin, you’ll be invited to our dedicated Pages 2.0 Migration Beta Channel in Happeo. This is where you’ll find all program communications, meeting links, recordings, resources, and updates – and where you can share feedback and questions directly with our team.
Will I still get help after the 5 weeks?
Yes – our Thursday Q&A sessions will stay open after the 5 weeks so you can continue getting support until your migration is complete.
What’s expected of participants?
We ask participants to:
- Join the weekly focus session and Q&A (or watch the recordings in the Pages 2.0 Migration Beta Channel)
- Follow the week’s migration activities at a steady pace
- Share feedback in the Pages 2.0 Migration Beta Channel or directly with our Product Team
Keeping pace with the weekly structure helps you follow best practices, explore different approaches, and set your site up for long-term success – but you’ll still be able to continue migrating after the 5 weeks if needed.
What if I miss a session?
No problem. Every focus session and Q&A is hosted twice and recorded. Recordings will be posted in the Pages 2.0 Migration Beta Channel so you can catch up anytime.
If you miss several weeks in a row, your Customer Success Team will work with you to get back on track. If that’s not possible, you can continue at your own pace or join a later cohort.
What if we can’t commit to the weekly pace?
If you can join most sessions, you’re welcome to take part. If not, we may recommend joining a later cohort once the migration tool and support approach are fully validated.
Can multiple team members join?
Yes – you can involve your wider team in migration work. However, we recommend keeping direct beta communications to a small group of key contributors. If you join, let us know who should be added to the Pages 2.0 Migration Beta Channel so they can see updates, attend sessions, and contribute.
Do we have to migrate our entire intranet during the beta?
No. Your pace will depend on your team’s capacity, content volume, and approach. You might:
- Migrate page groups “as is” for a quick transition
- Refresh and redesign content as you go for a bigger impact
The sessions run for 5 weeks, but you can continue migrating afterward with Thursday Q&A support available until your project is complete.
What happens to our current pages during migration?
When you migrate a page, subpage, or page group, the tool creates a draft in Pages 2.0 while your original pages remain live. You can review and refine before publishing. Publishing seamlessly replaces the old version with no downtime. Learn more here.
Can we choose which pages to migrate first?
Yes. We’ll guide you on the best approach for your needs. Migrating full page groups often helps with consistency, but single-page moves can make sense too.
What if we find issues during migration?
Report any issues, bugs, or unexpected behavior via the Pages 2.0 Migration Beta Channel or directly to our Product Team. We’ll provide reporting instructions at the start. You can always revert to the original content if needed, though we expect only minor issues.
What happens after the beta ends?
We’ll host a closing meeting to review what worked, what didn’t, and how we can improve the migration tool and support experience.
Many participants will still be migrating at that point – and that’s fine. Thursday Q&A sessions will remain available until your migration is complete.
Can we leave the program if it’s not the right fit?
Yes. If your priorities or capacity change, you can opt out at any time. You’ll be welcome to join a future cohort. Please note: the original version of Happeo Pages will eventually be retired, so migration will be required in the future.
